I have been reading about the beauty and awesomeness (is that word?) of McFee Park. I got to experience it first handed when Aaron and his Mommy met me for a photo session. Everything I had heard was true - it was beautiful and so nice! I highly recommend taking your children there if you're in the Farragut area.

Aaron turns two this month and his Mommy wanted to get some birthday photos done. He is simply handsome! Big bright blue eyes and the cutest blond hair. Behind all of his handsomness (again is that a word?) he was all boy! Not many two year old little boys want to sit still and have photos made so I let him do his own thing and photographed him in the process.

I believe we got some great shots that truly show his personality. Ashley, thank-you for trusting me to capture this special time in Aaron's life. He is a doll!

Watch Me Grow :: Kailyn

This was my next to last "Watch Me Grow" session with Kailyn Nicole. It seems just like yesterday I was headed to Parkwest to take her hospital photos and here were are and she's already 9 months old. I say this all the time, but one of my favorite parts of my photography business is being able to watch little ones grow up. I loved getting to spend some time with Kailyn every 3 months - she is so sweet and has always been so easy going with photos.

This session we went to AK Bissel Park at the Oak Ridge Civic Center. I just love the willow trees there. I always look forward to what outfits Carrie will bring for her! We always do multiple outfit changes and I am always impressed by how fast Carrie and Daniel get Kailyn dressed! They are pros!

Thank-you Daniel and Carrie for allowing me to be a part of your life and for allowing me the awesome opportunity to watch your sweet Kailyn grow up. I am looking forward to her first birthday in August! You have a beautiful little girl. Here are a few of my favorites from Kailyn Nicole's 9 month session.

Damon's Three!

A few Sunday's ago, I got to meet up with Damon, his Grandma, his Aunt Deb and his Mommy and Daddy. I first met this family when I did their family photos . This time though it was all about Damon. We did some birthday photos at Cedar Hill Park in Oak Ridge. He was completely adorable and so much fun! After some great shots in the field we headed over to the playground. That boy would slide all day if you let him :) He was having so much fun I hated to ask him to play somewhere else - after all, I don't think his family wanted 100 photos of him sliding, lol. We found some other cool things to play with and all in all I think we had a great time!

Happy 3rd birthday little Damon! I hope you have a wonderful year and I get to see you soon!

Mommy & Me ~ Katy & Emily

To say I love these two girls would be an understatement! I get so excited at each chance I get to spend time and photograph Emily and her precious Mommy Katy. As I have posted before, Katy and I went to high school together and she is just as sweet and caring as she was back then. Emily has so much of her Mom's personality. She is so sweet and precious. She is at the stage of "I don't want pictures made" right now, lol, but we still got some wonderful photos that I hope Katy will be able to cherish for a lifetime. Katy, thank-you so much for letting me watch your baby grow up! It is definitely an honor.

The Walls Girls

I love, love photographing these three sweet girls. Adyson, Hadley and Kaylynn are so much fun to be around and soooo photogenic! Not too mention they are so stylish! This session Mommy jumped in a few photos with them. Kendra is such a sweet lady. She is one of my dearest friends and I am so thankful to have her in my life.

We headed over to the UT Arboretum in Oak Ridge while they were on Spring Break and got some great shots. They were a little more hyper than usual ;) Nonetheless, their beautiful smiles and personalities really shine in the photos.

Thank-you Kendra for allowing me the priviledge of photographing your sweet girls. I enjoy every minute I get to spend with you and your family!

Jackson

This little guy was too cute for words! He was just like any other little boy at first - he didn't want to smile! But after a few times of prying a smile out of him, he found out it was kind of fun and began smiling all on his own! He was so cute and so well behaved. He did exactly what I asked him and didn't complain a bit :)
