Daddy & Me :: Eddie & Emily

Happy Father's Day - better late than never! I hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating with their fathers and with their children's fathers.

Last weekend, I met up with one of my favorite little girls for a Daddy and Me mini-session at Melton Hill Lake. Emily is a Daddy's girl through and through and we had no problems getting smiles out of her for this session. She loved the location too! Emily and her Daddy did some sliding and swinging at the park and then they found some ducks and fed them!

Hanging out with Emily and her family is always so much fun and this time was no different. Take a look at some of my favorites from Emily and Eddie's Daddy and Me mini-session!

Mommy & Me ~ Holly & Her Boys

I have so many memories growing up that include Holly. We went to church together and went on missions trips, summer camp and many other church activities together. I can remember when she had both of her little boys and to see them this old now makes me feel old!

Josiah and Zackary are a hoot! There is never a dull moment during their sessions. Josiah loves all things outdoors. Sometimes we got a little distracted by a cool bug but all in all I hope we were able to give Holly soem images with her boys that she'll treasure.

Mommy & Me ~ Juanita & Cassidy

I first met Juanita when I was working at the Credit Union inside of the Oak Ridge Wal-Mart. She is a front end manager at the store and would always come talk to us over at the branch. She is so funny and just fun to be around. I was so excited when she first scheduled her Mommy & Me mini-session.

This was the first time I have had the chance to meet Cassidy and she is a doll! She has a beautiful smile and the camera loved her. You could tell that she and her Mom had a good time together and that they loved each other. They were so sweet together and it was my priviledge to do this mini-session for them. I hope Juanita loves these photos and will treasure them for many years to come!

Mommy & Me ~ Katy & Emily

To say I love these two girls would be an understatement! I get so excited at each chance I get to spend time and photograph Emily and her precious Mommy Katy. As I have posted before, Katy and I went to high school together and she is just as sweet and caring as she was back then. Emily has so much of her Mom's personality. She is so sweet and precious. She is at the stage of "I don't want pictures made" right now, lol, but we still got some wonderful photos that I hope Katy will be able to cherish for a lifetime. Katy, thank-you so much for letting me watch your baby grow up! It is definitely an honor.

Love!

The Arnold Kids

When Stephanie told me her husband wanted to do a photo session of him and his siblings for his Mother as a gift, I was so excited! What a loving and thoughful gift! The kids are mostly grown so I'm guessing it has been a long time since they have had photos made together. When siblings grow up the photos of them together tend to fall by the wayside.

I know their Mom is going to love these photos of her sweet children. Her grandchildren even popped in for a few :) Josh, kudos for the great gift! These guys were so much fun to photograph. They enjoyed each other's company and it came through in the photos!

So, Happy Day Mrs. Arnold - I hope you love your photos of your kids!

The Crabtree Family

I am so thankful to say that the Crabtree family are returning clients! Each Spring they have family photos made and I am blessed to have done their photos for the past 2 years. One of my favorite parts of my business is watching all these kids grow up. Like I had said, it has been a year since I saw the Crabtree girls (other than on their Mom's Facebook page) and I was shocked at how much they had grown. Especially Miss Harley! There is so much growing up done between 1 and 2 years old. She wasn't a baby anymore - she was an adorable little girl.

I have gotten to know Laura a little bit through her ThirtyOne business, which was featured on the Tuesday Around Town section of the blog, and by reading her testimony which was featured in this month's Memories & Blessings' newsletter. If you didn't get a chance to read both of those features, you missed out! Don't worry you can read the stories by clicking HERE to read the Tuesday Around Town and then click HERE to read this month's newsletter.

Thank-you Chad and Laura for entrusting me with the honor of taking your family's photos. See you next Spring!

Jackson

This little guy was too cute for words! He was just like any other little boy at first - he didn't want to smile! But after a few times of prying a smile out of him, he found out it was kind of fun and began smiling all on his own! He was so cute and so well behaved. He did exactly what I asked him and didn't complain a bit :)

Thank-you Sarah and Daniel for allowing me to photograph your sweet little man! Here are a few of my favorites of Jackson from his Spring mini-session.

He thought it was pretty cool that this street shared his last name!
